New Zealander Terry Hughes improved a couple of spots on his last Commonwealth Games placing when finishing fourth in the 62kg men's weightlifting competition yesterday.
He lifted 110kg in the snatch, but failed at 115kg. In the clean and jerk he stopped at 135kg for a total of 245kg .
Australian Yourik Sarkisian took all three gold medals with a 125kg snatch, 152.5kg clean and jerk, and 277.5kg total.
