Teenager Lewis Clareburt has been added to New Zealand's Commonwealth Games swimming squad, bringing the team to 13.
Aged just 18, the Wellington-based Clareburt will contest the 400m individual medley on the Gold Coast and goes to the Games with a solid pedigree.
He won eight gold medals at New Zealand's age-group championships last year, as well as three golds at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
He was named the junior sportsman of the year at the Maori Sports Awards.
"I've been training really hard all summer as if I was going to the games, so I'm relieved that it's paid off," Clareburt said.
