The pool in Melbourne has seen a couple of powerful swims from the New Zealand team today.
Dean Kent has qualified fastest for tonight's 200 medley final, while Melissa Ingram has sliced an amazing four seconds off her personal best in the 200 backstroke, qualifying second fastest for tonight's final.
Kent last night spent all his energy in the 400 medley final, but he says he feels good today, which is testament to all the hard work he's done in training.
Melissa Ingram's sizzling swim in the 200 back has come from nowhere, even surprising Ingram herself. She says it was just a nice comfortable swim, and yet she has set her first personal best for five years.
Hannah McLean has posted the fifth fastest time tonight's 200 backstroke final.
The swim team has nine finalists in action tonight, plus the women's 100 free relay team.
