Squash: Kitchen through to last eight

New Zealand's Shelley Kitchen is through to the quarterfinals of the women's squash singles at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

The Kiwi number one upset English world number seven Jenny Duncalf in four games last night. Kitchen won the first 9-6 before dropping the second 9-4.

However, the ninth seeded New Zealander bounced back to take the next two 9-6 9-1, wrapping up victory in 54 minutes.

Kitchen will face England's world number five Vicky Botwright in the quarterfinals.
