Kiwi triathlete Nicky Samuels is appealing the decision to only name her a reserve for the Commonwealth Games.
After re-joining the New Zealand high performance programme this year, Samuels was named as a reserve for the relay race only in Glasgow.
Andrea Hewitt and Ryan Sissons achieved the qualification standard, while Kate McIlroy, Tony Dodds and Tom Davison were named with the selectors' discretion.
A decision on the appeal is expected to be made within 72 hours.
