Gymnastics: Aussies get three medals each

Australia excelled at individual gymnastics events yesterday, Philippe Rizzo collecting three gold medals in the men's competition and Allana Slater capturing a gold and two silver medals in the women's.

The victories lifted Australia's gymnastics medal haul to six gold, five silver and four bronze for a total of 15.

Canada were next best with 12, followed by England with nine.
