Another controversy surrounds the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
The Times of India reports President Pratibha Patil will declare the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games open, denying the British royal family the traditional honour.
The Indian government and Clarence House appear to be at loggerheads - with senior government aides claiming President Patil, and not Prince Charles, will officially declare the Games open next Sunday.
The paper says that's been confirmed by sources from the Games' Organising Committee.
However Clarence House insists Charles will fulfil the duties originally intended for the Queen.
