New Zealand track cycling coach Terry Gyde has named a strong team pursuit quartet for the Commonwealth Games.
Gyde went with current form in naming Hayden Godfrey, Marc Ryan, Jason Allen and Tim Gudsell who beat world champions Britain to win the Manchester round of the World Cup track series last December.
Allen, Hayden Roulston, and Ryan were named for the 4000m individual pursuit which begins tonight, the BikeNZ statement today said.
Richard Bowker, Roulston and former world champion, Greg Henderson, will ride in the points race, with Henderson, Godfrey and Gudsell all competing in the Scratch.
Peter Latham missed out, but will ride in the road events.
