Top Canadian road cyclist Lyne Bessette is a doubtful starter for next weekend's second World Cup round in Wellington because of a neck injury.
She will have x-rays after having to pull out of the opening round in Geelong yesterday.
The 30-year-old, one of the favourites for the Commonwealth Games road race, had a bad crash on Thursday on the last day of the Geelong Tour.
