Gold medal winning weightlifter Richie Patterson will carry the flag for New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Glasgow.
Patterson won the 85 kilo class with a dramatic final lift.
He married fellow weightlifter Pip Hale a few days ago.
Around 150 athletes and support staff will attend
