New Zealand's women's judo contingent at the Commonwealth Games is down to three with the withdrawal of Patti Grogan today.
The Gisborne 25-year-old, who is based in Auckland, has been forced out due to a health issue, which has sidelined her during final preparations in the Netherlands.
She has been unable to train to 100 percent for the last two weeks and will be out of action for at least another week.
Oceania champion Grogan, who is ranked second in the Commonwealth, would have been attending her first Commonwealth Games. She was to contest the 52kg weight division.
The New Zealand squad is reduced to 10, with Moira de Villiers, Darcina Manuel and Chanel Kavanagh the remaining women. All three are ranked in the top three in the Commonwealth.
