New Zealand's boxing team went medal-less from a Commonwealth Games for the first time in 36 years after Carl Commons and Greg Weenink were bundled out in their quarter-finals last night.
Light welterweight Commons competed strongly before losing 18-29 on points to Kenyan Moses Mathenge, while super heavyweight Weenink's contest against giant Englishman David Price was stoppedat the end of the second round.
