Australia's Games target stays the same

Australia's Commonwealth Games targets will stay the same for Melbourne despite the absence of star swimmer Ian Thorpe.

The withdrawal of Thorpe this week has left a gaping hole in the Australian swim team but the host team's general manager Perry Crosswhite said he stood by his original gold-medal estimates of 88 and a total medal haulof 208.
