New Zealand's Tony Sargisson won a silver medal in the 50km walk at the Commonwealth Games today.
Sargisson, fifth in the event at Manchester four years ago, was just over one 2km lap down on winner Nathan Deakes of Australia who completed the 20km/50km walk double for a second consecutive Games.
Craig Barrett, New Zealand's silver medallist from 2002, was struck by bouts of vomiting just over 10km from home and faded to finish fourth.
