Athletics: Jensen gets late call-up for hammer throw

Wellington hammer thrower Phil Jensen has grabbed a late spot in the New Zealand team for next month's Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Jensen produced two throws of 68.61m and 68.53m at a meeting in Auckland last weekend. Both efforts bettered the Games qualifying mark of 68.50.

Jensen finished fifth and sixth respectively at the 1990 and 1998 Games.
