New Zealand athlete Liza Hunter-Galvan has finished third in the White Rock marathon in the United States.
She recorded a time of two hours 33 minutes 51 seconds in the race in Dallas, Texas.
It marked the second time she had bettered the 2006 Commonwealth Games qualifying mark of 2hr 37min 00sec.
Hunter-Galvan, who came 51st in the marathon at the Olympic Games in Athens last year, was 4min behind the winner, Lioumila Kortuguina, of Canada.
Hunter-Galvan, 36, formerly of Auckland, is now a resident in San Antonio, Texas.
