MANCHESTER - Beatrice Faumuina barely raised a sweat in retaining her Commonwealth Games discus title in Manchester Tuesday, scoring New Zealand's second gold medal of the Games.
Faumuina was below her best with a winning throw of 60.83 metres -- more than two metres clear of her nearest challenger, Neelan Jaswant Singh of India.
It was New Zealand's second athletics medal of the day after Craig Barrett's silver medal in the 50km walk this morning.
