For the second straight day New Zealand added two medals to the team tally, proving silver is a popular colour this spring. The Australian juggernaut won't stop with the Aussies reaching 61 gold medals, more than double of second placed England.

Athletics
Along with Faumuina, three other New Zealanders take part in finals action in the track and field tonight with Monique Williams (200m), Nikki Hamblin (800m) and Andrea Miller (100m hurdles) all chasing medals (from 12.55am).

Rugby sevens
New Zealand open their sevens title defence against Canada, Guyana and Scotland (from 5.14pm).

Hockey
The New Zealand women's team face off against South Africa for a spot in the gold medal match (1am).
