The record-breaking start to the cycling season continued at the weekend.
The St Kentigern senior boys team who disappointed in the first race, fired up to blitz the course in 20m 42.6s, eclipsing the 20m 46s set in 2001 by Auckland Grammar.
The St Kentigern junior boys team beat the record they set last week, and at 22m 31.2s were the sixth-fastest team, junior or senior, on the day. Diocesan were comfortable winners from their own B team and Epsom Girls.
In the junior girls, Westlake gained a narrow victory over St Cuthberts and Diocesan, just two seconds separating the three.
