Massey High School scooped the boys' and girls' sections at the Auckland golf championships at Huapai golf course.
Annie Wairepo, refreshed after a six-month break from the game, won by two shots over Avondale College's Yu-Jing Bang.
Wairepo, who plays off a one handicap, was stalked by Bobea Park (Rangitoto College) until the 18th hole.
Wairepo kept her cool and made par to win the tournament for the second time in three years, while Park's double bogey dropped her to third.
Wairepo's brother, Danil, was an under-23 New Zealand player and she plans to follow him by also wearing the Silver Fern.
Joonsang Chung, a fifth-former at Massey, fired a 72 to hold out Lynfield College's Grant Salter by one shot to take the boys' title.
RUGBY LEAGUE
Kelston Boys' High School's indiscipline cost them a valuable win against Mt Albert Grammar.
They went down 18-30 after two players were sinbinned in the second half. Kelston were leading 18-8 at halftime, but were punished for two offences with 10 minutes remaining.
St Paul's had no trouble downing Mangere in the first round of regular competition, winning 38-0.
Otahuhu and Tangaroa had a close encounter, Otahuhu winning 20-16.
RUGBY
St Paul's came back to earth after their upset win of defending champions St Peter's last week, crashing 8-20 against King's College.
St Paul's, the 1A competition's minnows, secured the Moascar Cup for the first time since 1977 with the win against St Peter's.
They have yet to defend the 81-year-old trophy, and are likely to do so against Marcellin College, Rosmini, De La Salle, Sacred Heart and two other schools yet to be finalised.
De La Salle have sacrificed their home advantage to challenge for the Moascar if St Paul's still hold it by the time the two meet.
It was a promising start to the season for King's, who began the championships late because of their opponents' unavailability.
Talented wing Anthony Koonwaiyou scored two 50m runaway tries, his second denting any hopes St Paul's had of clawing their way back.
At that point St Paul's were 8-13 behind with 10 minutes left.
Kelston Boys' High School capped off a successful week after their 24-14 win over Tauranga Boys' High School, beating Auckland Grammar 27-22 to remain unbeaten after three rounds.
A ruthless Mt Albert Grammar thrashed St Peter's 48-8.
BASKETBALL
Defending Auckland champions Avondale College defaulted their Friday-night premier boys game against Kelston Boys' High school because of to a clash of college and Conference League games which would have meant fielding a depleted team. College Sport basketball organiser Warren Ogilive turned down an Avondale request to reschedule the match.
Ogilive said Avondale could have used players from the school's other basketball teams, but chose to forfeit 20 goals to Kelston by defaulting.
"They could have used their bench players or asked for dispensation for other players to turn out. I would have granted them that," he said.
But Avondale College sports coordinator Duane Mann said the commitments of other players were too heavy for them to to replace those missing.
"It was a hard decision to make," he said.
It is the second loss for the side, after they were beaten by Mt Albert Grammar on Monday.
