Mixed weather conditions at the Head of the Harbour rowing regatta at Lake Pupuke last weekend kept many of the singles, doubles and U15 four events off the water.
Schools from the northern region competed with close racing in the premier events. In the women's U-19 eight, Waikato Diocesan beat Baradene with Auckland Diocesan third. In the men's U19 eight, St Paul's Collegiate, Hamilton, finished clear of the rest of the field by half a length over King's with St Kentigern's pipping Auckland Grammar for third.
