David Haye has suggested the money on offer to Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor for a potential 'mega fight' could persuade the two superstars to get into the ring together.
Undefeated boxing legend Mayweather has been teasing fans over the last few weeks, and said on Saturday that he 'absolutely' believes he will come out of retirement to fight the UFC featherweight champion.
And speaking ahead of his fight with Arnold Gjergjaj at the O2 Arena on Saturday night, former heavyweight world champion Haye said the prospect of another huge pay-day could entice 'Money' into taking on the Irish MMA star.
'Floyd 'Money' Mayweather is all about the money and he won't get in the ring for less than $100million [£69.7m],' Haye told the Daily Telegraph at an open workout on Monday.
'One thing you can guarantee with McGregor is that he will bring his big fan base and people will want to see it as well. These are two of the biggest names in world sport let alone boxing and MMA.'
