Manager regrets 'parasites' comment

David Tua's manager is still angry at Maori TV but wishes he had not labelled them "parasites."

The network has been trumpeting the ratings success of Tua's fight with Friday Ahunanya, but David Higgins says the station did hardly anything to promote it.

Now he says the parasite tag he let loose with was not a good choice of words. But he says it was wrong for Maori TV to claim the credit. He says his team worked hard for six months to make the fight happen, but the broadcaster took on very little commercially or financially.
