Oleksandr Usyk has become boxing’s first undisputed heavyweight champion since 2000, beating Tyson Fury by split decision.
Usyk rocked Fury in the ninth round, forcing the referee’s count and posting the lone 10-8 round of the fight.
The judges scored the fight 115-112 Usyk, 114-113 Usyk, 114-113 Fury.
There was a two-way rematch clause for the fight, and Fury has already made it known he wants to run the bot back in October.
The last undisputed title fight was in 1999, with Lennox Lewis beating Evander Holyfield before being stripped of one of the belts in 2000.
