A group of women have been subjected to a vile sexist and abusive tirade by a man while trying to watch Australian boxer Jeff Horn's victory against Manny Pacquiao on Sunday.
Journalist Tegan George filmed a man slumped in his seat holding up the middle finger to her camera before telling her "come on b****, f*** off away from me".
George then approached the man, asking if he speaks to all women in that tone.
This enraged the man, who turned and responded saying: "no, only c***s like you".
In a tweet that has since been shared more than 250 times, George called out the man for his behaviour in the crowd at the fight.
"Never have I or my sports loving girl friends been so badly abused & sexually harassed. Went on for hours," she tweeted, with a video of the alleged perpetrator.
According to George's friend Sally, they initially tried to be "good sports" about the heckling, but instead the man continued with his sexual slurs.
She told the Daily Mail they were subjected to verbal and physical abuse.
'They were intentionally tipping drinks on us and yelling "what does it take to get c***s like this wet",' she said.
"What happened today totally crossed the line and left Tegan and myself upset. I guess it just comes down to people not understanding where there is a line.
"Women should be able to go out and enjoy a sporting match without being subject to sexual harassment."
Sally said what disappointed her was those who witnessed the verbal abuse did nothing to stop the men.
Sally said one man allegedly turned to the women and told them to calm down and enjoy the boxing.
After George filmed the short clip of the man, Sally stood up and went to approach a nearby police officer, who had witnessed the uncomfortable situation.
"We'd left it as long as we could," she said. "We didn't engage".
The men were immediately asked to leave, but Sally claims they never understood why.
She explained as the men were leaving, they were yelling about how they would be demanding a refund from Suncorp Stadium.
Messages have flooded in supporting the women, with one online broadcaster tweeting: "This is absolutely disgusting. I can believe there were people sitting around this incident and not 'sticking up' for you and your friend".
