David Tua's refusal to fight Monte Barrett has led to the American confirming a fight with another Kiwi boxer.
Barrett will fight Shane Cameron in New Zealand on May 30.
He says he's worth more in this country than in the USA, so when Tua backed out of negotiations, it made good sense financially to take on Cameron.
Barrett says Tua is the queen of New Zealand and has never lived up to his potential and kept making excuses not to fight, so he decided to put a deal together with Cameron.
Cameron will need to put on at least ten kilograms in order to make the move up from cruiserweight to heavyweight.
