Kiwi heavyweight boxer David Tua looks to once again have an opponent for his New York fight in two weeks.
Tua's first rival, Kelvin Davis, fell through at the weekend but promoter Cedric Kushner says arrangements have now been made with veteran journeyman Ross Puritty.
Kushner says the 39-year old American was already in training for a fight in Europe. He says Puritty had not committed to that fight when he was offered the chance to face David Tua and he would rather fight in New York than England.
The career highlight of Puritty's 30 win, 27 loss career is a knockout victory over Wladimir Klitschko in 1998.
