Ageing New Zealand heavyweight boxer David Tua has announced the details of his next fight, against little-known American Demetrice King in Manukau on March 19.
Tua, 38, last fought in July when he controversially drew with American Monte Barrett, a result which was considered a fortunate one for the Auckland slugger.
He is still working back from a shoulder injury and hopes to be fully fit for the fight against King which will see out his three-fight deal with Maori Television.
Tua is using the fight to "regain confidence" and should be too good for King, 25, who has a moderate professional record of 15 wins and 19 defeats.
The fight is being promoted by Tua's friend and former All Black Va'aiga Tuigamala.
