A former International Boxing Federation champion was confirmed yesterday as the next opponent for David Tua.
Thirty-one-year-old Obed Sullivan is the first of two Americans picked by Tua's management to give him a reasonable workout before his expected fight with world champion Lennox Lewis in November.
New Zealander Tua will meet Sullivan, who has a 35-5-1 record, including a loss over 10 rounds against Michael Grant, on June 3 at Las Vegas.
The other American opponent has not yet been named.
