KEY POINTS:
Anthony Mundine will defend his World Boxing Association super middleweight title against long-time friend Nader Hamdan in Sydney on February 27.
It will be Hamdan's first bid for a world title and Mundine's first defence.
Mundine said he had initial hesitations about fighting his "Muslim brother" whom he has known since he was 16. But he promised it was "war" and was confident he would retain his title.
