Anthony Mundine has secured an impressive technical knockout victory over Bronco McKart in his debut fight on US soil today.
Mundine was in control from the outset, controlling the pace of the fight over the first six rounds before knocking McKart to the canvas on three occasions with vicious uppercuts in the seventh round before the American's corner threw in the towel.
Mundine had started to gain the edge in the fifth round when he landed a serious body shot which sent McKart reeling into the ropes of the Palms Resort Casino in Las Vegas.
But he was unable to capitalise instantly, prompting former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes to demand more from the Australian.
"He's a good fighter, but what he's doing is all wrong ... That macho attitude will get him into trouble," Holmes said.
