New Zealand heavyweight boxer Shane Cameron was hardly convincing but did enough to defeat Australian Daniel Ammann by unanimous decision in their 10-round bout in Perth late last night.
The 32-year-old has dropped 13kg to 93.7kg in recent months in the hope of taking on IBO cruiserweight world champion Danny Green.
He admitted that last night, he struggled to adapt to his new weight. "I'm just getting the body used to it [the lower weight]. I didn't find the spark tonight."
He needs to drop almost 10kg more to stand a chance of taking on Green.
