Boxing: Joe Frazier coming to NZ

A boxing legend is heading to New Zealand for this year's Fight for Life promotion in July.

Former heavyweight champ Joe Frazier is being brought here from the US by promoter Dean Lonergan.

Frazier will make some public appearances as well as assisting with the TV commentary.

The Fight for Life is being held in July this year, at the North Shore Events Centre, the same week as the third All Blacks v Lions test at Eden Park.

The theme for this year's event is ex Lions players vs ex All Blacks. The contenders have not yet been announced.
