Boxer Sean Sullivan shed weight faster than Act MP Donna Awatere Huata to make the limit for his bout with Australian Anthony Mundine tonight.
The South Aucklander, as challenger for the Pan Asian Boxing Association supermiddleweight title, stepped up to the scales first at yesterday's weigh-in at the Warriors' gym at Ericsson Stadium.
He was 76.4kg, 200g over.
The shirt and shorts were discarded, Sullivan made a quick trip to the urinal, and he tried again - 76.3kg.
Off came the boxers before he finally made the grade for the fight at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama.
Mundine recorded 76.1kg without having to remove his briefs or his tattoo.
"I've got speed, power and footwork on him so basically I'm the superior one," said the former league star not known for his retiring nature.
