They should be supporters of his heavyweight opponent Anthony Joshua, but members of the England sevens team have visited Joseph Parker's gym in Las Vegas to offer their support.
A group of nine players and officials, in Las Vegas for the world series this weekend, visited Parker and posed fora picture with the New Zealand world WBO champion who will fight Englishman Joshua in Cardiff on March 31.
Parker has apparently won over the English journalists, including Sky Sports UK's crew, who have travelled to Vegas in the build-up to the world heavyweight unification fight, and the England team are the latest to receive his hospitality.
The New Zealand sevens team, who came fourth in the Hamilton tournament at the start of February after losing to Fiji and Australia, are in a relatively easy pool in Las Vegas, with Argentina, Scotland and Uruguay their opposition.
A Duco spokesman said it was not known whether the Kiwis would also visit Parker and trainer Kevin Barry.
England's visit comes as the respective promoters of Parker and Joshua, Duco Events and Matchroom, announced a television rights deal in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Canada.
Matchroom's Eddie Hearn said: "This is a history making fight - a breathtaking heavyweight unification between two young, fearless, undefeated champions and through this partnership we are delighted that more boxing fans in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Canada will be able to witness this special night."
