Heavyweight boxer Shane Cameron has had a bout confirmed with Leo "Paco" Nolan from the United States which will take place in Cameron's home town of Gisborne in March.
Detroit-based Nolan is a former USBO champion and is known as a durable fighter with a record of 27 wins from 28 bouts.
He spent time in prison in the late 1990s following a run-in with an off-duty policeman during which he was also shot.
Up for grabs in the Gisborne fight, which takes place at Rugby Park on March 7, will be Cameron's WBO Oriental and Asia Pacific belts.
Meanwhile, the Cameron and David Tua camps are still trying to reach an agreement over a bout between the two heavyweights.
