Boxing: Auckland boxing head stands down

Auckland Boxing Association president Gary McCrystal is standing down after a five-year term. Previously he was president from 1993-96.

McCrystal has endorsed Tui Gallagher for the job, making her the first woman to attain the position.

He will remain president of the New Zealand National Boxing Federation.
