New Zealand has one gold and two bronze medals after Jo Edwards won her third and fourth singles play-off match over the Philippines at the Asia Pacific bowls championships at Melbourne yesterday.
Edwards took the match in a straight-sets victory, 9-4, 10-2.
She missed out on the gold match earlier when she lost her semifinal to Malaysia in the tie-break.
In the men's event, Ali Forsyth lost to Steve Glasson of Australia 9-4, 9-7 in the singles bronze match.
