KEY POINTS:
New Zealand bowls legend Peter Belliss picked up the sixth national title of his career at the national championships in Auckland today.
Australian-based Belliss won the fours final 25-5 over Nick Grgicevich, of the Mt Albert club in Auckland.
Belliss, who plays out of the Cabramatta club in Sydney, dominated the final from the outset with teammates Justin Goodwin, Steve Posa and Kevin Robinson.
Brassey's combination included Belliss' former New Zealand teammate Rowan Brassey and Grgicevich's two sons, Nevan and Vincent.
"It was pretty special out there today," two-time former world champion Belliss said after picking up his first fours title at national level.
"The team played extremely well and I really didn't need to do too much," he told Radio Sport.
