Two wins yesterday put Sharon Sims on top of her section and virtually assured her a place in the quarter-finals of the world champion of champions bowls singles tournament in Christchurch.
Sims beat Maureen Dougherty from Kenya 13-7, 13-2, then Botswana's Shirley Baylis 11-4 9-5.
Dwayne Cameron, the NZ men's representative is seventh.
