One of New Zealand's most popular lawn bowlers Bob McDonald died in Auckland yesterday.
McDonald, 72, won a complete set of Commonwealth Games medals - all in pairs. He skipped Onehunga club teams to two national titles - pairs with Frank Livingstone in 1962 and fours in 1973.
