New Zealand will be represented by a record five players at the world indoor singles championships in Norfolk, England in January.
World No 19 Jamie Hill, an automatic entry, will be joined by veteran internationals Rowan Brassey and Steve Posa, Dunedin's Doug Thomas and rising Wellington teenager Steve Wood, 19.
Brassey, Posa, Thomas and Wood, booked their tickets to Norfolk after winning regional competitions.
Wood leads the race for best rookie of the year in the NZ Professional Bowlers Association and represented New Zealand during the summer in the under 25 team against Australia.
Brassey will be making his eighth trip to a World Bowls Tour event and his best finish was a semifinal appearance at the world indoor singles in the 1996/97 season.
