Bowls: National coach Buttar retires

Bowls New Zealand national coach Stewart Buttar yesterday announced his retirement due to an ongoing battle with illness.

Buttar will end a four-year term as national coach, having earned tremendous success on the international stage.

His place is taken by former New Zealand international Peter Belliss and experienced coach Ann Muir, who have been appointed co-coaches of the New Zealand side.
