Bowls: loss for Brassey

New Zealand's Rowan Brassey was beaten in the first round of the World Bowls Tour event at Perth, Scotland, yesterday.

Brassey, a qualifier for the tournament, went down in straight sets to Australian sixth seed Kelvin Kerkow 7-8, 5-9.
