Bowls: Kiwis win four medals

The New Zealand bowls contingent have collected a gold, two silvers and a bronze medal at the Eight Nations tournament in India.

The pairs team of Richard Collett and Dan Delany won gold for New Zealand with a 9-5 9-8 victory over Australia as the event wrapped up yesterday, while men's singles player Ali Forsyth and the triples team of Andrew Todd, Andrew Kelly and Richard Girvan won silver medals after losing their final matches to Malaysia 8-9 4-10, and England 4-6 2-9 respectively.

Women's singles player Val Smith won a bronze medal at the expense of her South African opponent.
