New Zealand's Marina Khan bowed out of the Australian Open bowls championships in Melbourne yesterday.
Khan was eliminated by defending champion Siti Zalina, of Malaysia, in the singles semifinals. Commonwealth Games double gold medallist Zalina won their match 10-4, 9-5 to advance to the final where she will play either Katrina Wright or Karen Murphy, both of Australia.
