Three overseas-based players have been included in the 12-strong bowls team for the Commonwealth Games in October.
The team features three players based in New South Wales, in men's singles player Ali Forsyth, triples lead Andrew Todd and his skip Richard Girvan.
Girvan and Todd were members of New Zealand's gold medal-winning four at the 2008 world championships, while Val Smith, the women's singles champion from that event, will also appear at New Delhi, India, in October.
As well, Jan Khan, a bronze medallist at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, will skip Manu Timoti in the women's pairs.
Shannon McIlroy joins Todd and Girvan in the triples, meaning he is the only member of last year's fours combination to make the Games squad.
McIlroy and his skip Gary Lawson, Shayne Sincock and Jamie Hill were found guilty of throwing an end during the 2009 Asia Pacific championships in Kuala Lumpur.
In March, Lawson was suspended for six months and fined $5000, while the other three were fined $1000.
The Games squad are rounded out by the men's pair of Richard Collett and skip Dan Delany, and the women's triple of Genevieve Baildon, Dale Lang and skip Karen Coombes.
National coach David Edwards is happy with the team assembled for New Delhi.
"We have left no stone unturned to get the best combinations for Delhi 2010," he said.
"There is a real depth of experience sprinkled throughout the team and some excellent newer players coming through. It is a solid look and we're more than happy with the 12 players we've named."
New Zealand teams this year competed at an Eight Nations event in New Delhi, which had given the Games team an insight into what to expect.
