The women's four skipped by Sandra Keith recovered from two losses on the first day to be unbeaten yesterday, finishing second in their section. The Kiwis will now play Philippines in their playoff game with the winner to play Australia on the other side of the draw.
USA won an automatic semi-final spot and today Hong Kong China will play Malaysia with the winner to play the Americans.
The Kiwi men's pairs combination of Mike Kernaghan and Shannon Mcllroy continued on their winning way with two good wins, beating their biggest threat Hong Kong China 23-10 to advance to the semi-finals where they will play the winner of Malaysia v Hong Kong China game.
