World No 1 Jo Edwards is once again proving her standing among the world's best bowlers after downing two more opponents on the fifth day of the World Champion of Champions tournament in Hong Kong.
Edwards leads the standings as she heads into the final day of section play.
She beat Debbie Robertson (Zimbabwe) 11-4, 10-2 in her first match and followed it up with an impressive 9-3, 14-3 defeat of South Africa's Cheryl Mostert.
"It's really pleasing," Edwards admits. "South Africa is a good bowling nation and Zimbabwe have been going well. I haven't really looked at the table, but I think we're not going to find out who's on top until after today." (Friday)
Dunedin's Shaun Scott is in equally fine form, but after losing to Scotland on the final end of an intense tie-break, 4-6 12-4 4-2, he has dropped down the rankings to fifth.
