Jo Edwards will chase a fourth world title at April's World Cup singles in Australia with Tony Grantham getting the nod in the men's event.
Edwards won three consecutive titles before narrowly missing a fourth last year when she went down to Alison Merrien of Guernsey and she's confident of doing well on the indoor greens at Warilla in New South Wales. The World Cup singles features 42 bowlers from around the world.
"There are some really talented bowlers attending and the fact that it is indoor and with the great surfaces at Warilla there are just no excuses," she said.
Grantham is a previous winner of the World Champion of Champions singles title and he showed good form at last year's world championships. This will be his debut at the World Cup and he will practice on indoor greens in New Zealand to prepare.
"It's a dream to play singles for New Zealand," Grantham said. "I'm looking forward to getting back on indoor greens."
